The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Christmas Traditions

Hello all,

Everyone is gearing up for Christmas and I’m feeling the rising levels of seasonal cheer!

I’ve been talking to friends on Facebook about Christmas traditions and lots of fun Christmas memories have come flooding back to me so I thought I’d share these photos with you from a few years ago.

During Christmas 2011 my nephew found one of my confetti rockets and I agreed we could set it off! He loved it. We did snow angels in the confetti for hours and I spent even longer clearing it up! My younger nephew will be old enough to join in the fun this year so I’m looking forward to doing it again and making it a yearly tradition, though I think I will have to make them promise to help the clean up operation!

Here’s just a few things people have made a tradition:

  • Christmas hampers
  • Hot chocolate and Christmas movies
  • Getting merry on Christmas Eve
  • Starting the day in onesies with a glass of bubbly
  • Wrapping last minute until the wee hours
  • A present on Christmas Eve huddled round the tree
  • Christmas fry up

A happy December to you all. Hope you are enjoying buying presents and making plans.

What fun things do you get up to at Christmas? Tell me in the comments.
